My parents and I.

Origins

Like my father, Mohamed Maacha, always taught me, you have to know your roots — the stronger they are, the higher you can grow. I’m from Algeria, proud to be Amazigh, and I was born and raised in Tizi Ouzou. I moved to the United States at 14 for a chance at a better future. Now a U.S. citizen, I carry my culture’s education with me every day. Everything I build here is meant to honor the sacrifices of my parents and the strength of the generations who came before me.

Debts and Lessons

I wouldn’t be the man I am today without the people who came before me. I owe a debt I can never repay to my family and the lessons they placed in me.

My father, Mohamed Maacha, for his integrity and manliness, his character and self-control, his belief in me, his willingness to help others, and his eagerness to share.

My Mother, Fatima Chebili, for her love, her unwavering care, and for her strength in overcoming life’s hardest obstacles, even in times of illness.

My late Grandfather, Said Chebili, for his strong character, for teaching me the importance of education, for insisting on discipline, and for guiding me to avoid anything that weakens the mind or body, for the promise I made to him to never touch drugs or alcohol, and to live a healthy life.

My late Grandmother, Djouher Maacha, for her unwavering caring, her unconditional love, her devotion to family, her kindness and respect to others, and for entrusting me to care for my parents.

My late Grandmother Djouher Maacha الله يرحمها and I.
My Late GrandFather, Said Chebili الله يرحمه and I.

Goals

My goals are clear to me; I know where I’m from, therefore I know where I’m headed. I’ve always been the tech-savvy one in the house. I grew up on computers, and when I came to the United States, choosing Cybersecurity was easy. I realized everything I knew about tech pointed me at this field; It’s a domain I’m good at, one I take pride & joy in improving every day. I strive to be at the top of my game. I love personal improvement, and I want to see myself succeed in this field.
